1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Burwood Local Environmental Plan No 72.

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to land situated within the Burwood local government area, being land shown edged heavy black on the map marked “Burwood Local Environmental Plan No 72” deposited in the office of Burwood Council.

4      Amendment of Burwood Planning Scheme Ordinance

(1) Clause 79B Items and areas of heritage conservation

Insert “and the land shown edged heavy black on the map marked ‘Burwood Local Environmental Plan No 72’” after “‘Burwood Local Environmental Plan No 61’” in the definition of conservation area.

Schedule 9 Heritage Items

Omit the matter relating to the Wallace and Brady Streets Conservation

Area (item 3.62).

Insert instead:
