AN ACT to authorise the Construction of a Rail- way from the Bunbury-Boyanup Railway to the Bunbury Racecourse.

DE it enacted by die Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

) with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Pre"" He'

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia- ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.     THIS Act may be cited as the Bunbury Racecourse Railway

Act, 1897. Short title.

2.     IT shall be lawful to construct a railway from the Banbury-

Bo 'anal) Railway to the Bmibury Racecourse, with all necessary, stru ct railway.

proper, and usual works and conveniences in connection therewith, in

the line described in the Schedule to this Act.

3. NOTWITHSTANDING anything contained in the Rail-

Deviation. ways Act, 1878, it shall be lawful for the Commissioner of Railways to deviate from the line, as described in such Schedule, to the extent of one mile on either side thereof.

to this Act.

SCHEDULE.

BUNBURY RACECOURSE RAILWAY.

DESCRIPTION OF LINE OF RAILWAY.

Commencing at or near a point on the Bunbury-Boyanup Railway 1 mile 58

chains or thereabouts from its commencing point at Bunbury, and proceeding

thence in a generally South-West by Southerly direction for about 1 mile 22 chains

thence in a generally South-East by Southerly direction for about 21 chains, and

terminating at a point South-West of Reserve No. 155A Bnnhary Racecourse.

Total length, 1 mile 43 chains.
