BUILDINGS (DESIGN AND SITING) ORDINANCE

BUILDINGS (DESIGN AND SITING) REGULATIONS

REGULATIONS 1966, No. 13*

citation. 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Buildings (Design and Siting)

Regulations.

Land outside 2. Each of the following areas of land outside the City Area is declared

which	to be an area of land to which the Buildings (Design and Siting)	Ordinance
Ordinance	, 9 5 4	a p p l i e s : _

(a) so much of the land adjacent to the Cotter Road and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that road as is situated outside the City Area;

(b) so much of the land adjacent to the Barton Highway and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that highway as is situated outside the City Area;

(c) so much of the land adjacent to the Federal Highway and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that highway as is situated outside the City Area;

(d) so much of the land adjacent to Fairbairn Avenue and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that avenue as is situated outside the City Area;

(e) the land adjacent to that portion of the Sutton Road situated be- tween its intersection with Fairbairn Avenue and the boundary of the Territory at Queanbeyan and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that road;

(/) so much of the land adjacent to Canberra Avenue and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that avenue as is situated outside the City Area;

(g) so much of the land adjacent to Jerrabomberra Avenue and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that avenue as is situated outside the City Area;

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

(h) the land adjacent to and to the west of the Monaro Highway and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that highway;

(i) the land adjacent to and to the east of the Monaro Highway and not more than ten chains from the middle line of that high- way, or where the boundary of the Territory is less than ten chains from that middle line, the land between that middle line and that boundary; and

(/') so much of the land adjacent to, and not more than ten chains
from, the land described in the Schedules to the Seat oj

Government Railway Act 1928 as is outside the City Area.
