BUILDING SERVICES CORPORATION ACT 1989—
REGULATION

(Relating to the BSC Comprehensive Insurance Scheme)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Building Services Corporation Act 1989, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 4 February 1991.

Amendment

2. The Building Services Corporation Regulation 1990 is amended:

(a)

by omitting from clause 6 (1) (a) of Form 4 in Schedule 1 the matter “$60,000” and by inserting instead the matter “$1 00,000”;

(b)

by omitting from clause 6 (2) (c) of Form 4 in Schedule 1 (as inserted by clause 5 of the Regulation made under the Building Services Corporation Act 1989 and published in Gazette No. 174 of 21 December 1990 at page 11209) the matter “$60,000” and by inserting instead the matter “$100,000”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Building Services Corporation Regulation 1990 to increase (from $60,000 to $100,000) the maximum aggregate liability for which the Corporation is liable under the BSC Comprehensive Insurance Scheme in relation to a single dwelling or a defective kit home.
