Building Regulations² (Amendment)

I, JOHN JOSEPH BROWN, the Minister of State for the Arts, Sport, the Environment, Tourism and Territories, hereby make the following Regulation under the Building Ordinance 1972.

Refund of fees

Regulation 12 of the Building Regulations is amended:

(a)by omitting from subregulation (1) “$20” and substituting “$24”;

(b)by omitting from the formula in subregulation (2) “20” and substituting “24”; and

(c)by adding at the end of the following subregulation:

“(3)  Where a person who has made an application for approval of plans under Part III of the Ordinance withdraws the application before being given that approval, he or she is entitled to a refund of the fee paid for the approval of the plans less $24.”.
