Building Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THOMAS UREN, the Minister of State for Territories and Local Government, hereby make the following Regulations under the Building Ordinance 1972.

Interpretation

1. Regulation 2 of the Building Regulations is amended—

(a)	by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the definitions of "commercial building work" and "residential building work"; and
(b)	by omitting sub-regulations (2) and (3).

Refund of fees

2. Regulation 12 of the Building Regulations is amended—

(a)	by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "under regulation 9 less the sum of $10" and substituting "for the grant of the permit less the sum of $20"; and
(b)	by omitting from sub-regulation (2) "under regulation 9" and "10" and substituting "for the grant of the permit" and "20", respectively.

3. Regulation 18 of the Building Regulations is amended by omitting

sub-regulations (1), (2), (3) and (4).

Repeals

4. Regulations 4 to 11 (inclusive), 13, 15, 16 and 17 of, and Schedule 2 to,

the Building Regulations are repealed.
