AN ACT to amend and continue the operation of the Building Operations and Building Materials Control Act, 1945-1951.

[Assented to 14th November, 1952.]

BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Building ,TV:itaS

Operations and Building Materials Control Act

Amendment and Continuance Act, 1952.

(2) In this Act, the Building Operations and Building Materials Control Act, 1945-1951,

Act No. 26 of 1945 as continued by Act No. 56 of 1946 and affected by Act No. 51 of 1946 and amended and continued by Acts Nos. 78 of 1947, 6 of 1948, 27 of 1949, 29 of 1950, and 35 of 1951,

is referred to as the principal Act.

The principal Act as amended by this Act may

be cited as the Building Operations and Building

Materials Control Act, 1945-1952.

2. Section two of the principal Act is amended S. a..ended.

by deleting lines six to fourteen inclusive.

amended. 3. Section six of the principal Act is amended

by

(a)

deleting the definition "Building

materials";

(b) deleting the definition "License";

(c) deleting the definition "Licensee".

Repeal of

Part IV.	4. Part IV of the principal Act is repealed.

amended.	5. Section twenty-eight of the principal Act is amended by deleting the words, "(whether in a license or otherwise)" in line three.

amended.	6. Section thirty-two of the principal Act is amended by deleting the words, "acquisition of building material", in line four of paragraph (b) of subsection (1) and lines fifteen to twenty inclusive of the paragraph.

amended.	7. Section thirty-eight of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the word, "fifty-two" in line three, the word, "fifty-three".
Repeal of

Schedule. 8. The Schedule to the principal Act is repealed.
