AN ACT to Amend and Continue the Operation of the Building Operations and Building Materials Control Act, 1945-1949.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:-

Short titld	1. This Act may be cited as the Building Opera- tions and Building Materials Control Act Amend- ment and Continuance Act, 1950, and shall be read
as one with the Building Operations and Building Materials Control Act, 1945-1949 (Act No. 26 of 1945, as continued by Act No. 56 of 1946 and affected by Act No. 51 of 1946, and amended and continued by Acts Nos. 78 of 1947, 6 of 1948 and 27 of 1949), here- inafter referred to as the principal Act.

3. Section nine of the principal Act is amended Am

(a) deleting from paragraph (d) of subsection 1940, No. 250.

(2) the word "fifty" in line five and sub-

stituting the words "two hundred and

fifty";

(b)

deleting from paragraph (e) of subsection

(2) the word "fifty" in line nine and sub-

stituting the words "one hundred";

(c) deleting from paragraph (f) of subsection

(2) the word "one" in line six and sub-

stituting the word "two";

(d) adding to subsection (2) the following paragraph-

(i) either wholly or to the extent speci- fied to any person or class of persons whom, or to any building operation or class of building operations which, may by regulation be declared to be a person or class of persons to whom, or building operation or class of building operations to which, the provisions of the last preceding sub- section shall not apply either wholly or to the extent specified, as the case may be;

(e) adding the following subsection:

(3) The Governor may, by regulation, alter the respective amounts of money mentioned in paragraphs (c), (d), (e), (f) and (g) of the last preceding subsection.
