1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Building (General) Amendment Regulation 2012 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the commencement of the Planning and Building Legislation Amendment Act 2011 (No 2), section 7.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Building (General) Regulation 2008.

4. New section 30A (c) (iia)

   insert

   (iia)if the licensed builder is a corporation—the licensed builder’s Australian Company Number (ACN) (if any);

5. New section 30A (c) (iva)

   insert

   (iva)if the certifier is a corporation—the certifier’s Australian Company Number (ACN) (if any);

6. New section 30A (c) (va)

   insert

   (va)the block and section number and division for the parcel of land;

7. Section 30A (d)

   omit

   waterproof material

   substitute

   durable material that will remain intact for the period of construction

8. Section 30B (b)

   omit

   section 1.100 or 1.100A

   substitute

   section 1.100, 1.100AA, 1.100A or 1.100AB
