Building Fire Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Building Fire Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 July 2009. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008. 4 Amendment of s 7 (Person not to obstruct an evacuation route) Section 7(1)(a)(ii), ‘hinder, or’— omit, insert— ‘hinder or’. 5 Amendment of s 8 (Occupier not to allow evacuation route to be obstructed) Section 8(1)(b), ‘hinder, or’— omit, insert— ‘hinder or’. 6 Amendment of s 74 (Preliminary meeting fee for proposed building development application) Section 74(2)(a)(ii), ‘$266.39’— omit, insert— ‘$327.65’.
