2 Building Fire Safety Amendment (No. 1) No. 200, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Building Fire Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Building Fire Safety Regulation 1991 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.4 (Definitions) 3.(1) Section 4— insert— ‘ “Building Act” means the Building Act 1975 ; “Fire Service Act” means the Fire Service Act 1990 ; ’. (2) Section 4 (definition “building” )— omit ‘ the Act ’, insert ‘ the Fire Service Act ’. ˙ Amendment of s.7 (Commissioner to approve forms) 4. Section 7— omit ‘ the Act ’, insert ‘ the Fire Service Act ’. ˙ Amendment of s.8 (Approved forms to be used) 5. Section 8— omit ‘ the Act ’, insert ‘ the Fire Service Act ’. ˙ Amendment of s.13 (Further requirements regarding fire and evacuation plans for some buildings) 6. Section 13(1)— omit ‘ the Act ’, insert ‘ the Fire Service Act ’.

Heading to Part 4— omit, insert— ‘PART 4—FEES UNDER THE BUILDING ACT FOR INSPECTION OF SPECIAL FIRE SERVICES’. ˙ Amendment of Schedule 1 (Matters in respect of which information may be required in approve forms) 9.(1) Schedule 1 (heading to clause 1)— omit ‘the Act’, insert ‘the Fire Service Act’.
