Building and Construction Industry Training
Fund and Levy Collection Amendment

Regulations 2001

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Building and Construction
Industry Training Fund and Levy Collection Amendment
Regulations 2001.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 February 2001 unless they are published in the Gazette after that day, in which case they come into operation on the day on which they are published in the Gazette.

3.             Regulation 6 amended

Regulation 6 of the Building and Construction Industry amended as follows:

(a)	by inserting before “For” the subregulation designation “(1)”;
(b)	in paragraph (a) by inserting after “contract price” — “ (including the GST) ”;
(c)	in paragraph (b) by inserting after “sum of the value” — “ (including the GST) ”;
(d)	at the end of the regulation by inserting the following subregulation —

“

(2)	In this regulation —
“GST” has the same meaning as it has in the A New

Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 of the Commonwealth.
