An Act to amend the Building and Construction Industry Training

Fund and Levy Collection Act 1990.

[Assented to 12 November 2010]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Building and Construction Industry Training Fund and Levy Collection

Amendment Act 2010

s. 1

1.             Short title

This is the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund

and Levy Collection Amendment Act 2010.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation as follows —

(a)	sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;
(b)	the rest of the Act — on the day after that day.

3.             Act amended

This Act amends the Building and Construction Industry

Training Fund and Levy Collection Act 1990.

4.             Section 10 amended

(1)	In section 10(1):
(aa) delete paragraph (d) and insert:

(d) Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of Western Australia; and

(a)

delete paragraphs (f), (g) and (h) and “and” after paragraph (h) and insert:

(f)	the National Electrical and Communications Association of Western Australia; and
(g)	the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union of Workers; and
(h)	the Civil Contractors Federation of Western Australia; and

(4) The regulations may amend subsection (1) in order to reflect a change in the name of any body referred to in that subsection.
