Long Service Payments Act
1986—Order
GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council and in pursuance of section 3 (6) of the Building and Construction Industry Long Service Payments Act 1986, do, by this my Order, declare that:
| (a) | the State of Tasmania (being a State in relation to which an agreement entered into under section 55 (1) of that Act is in force) is a reciprocating State; and |
| (b) | the Construction Industry (Long Service) Act 1997 of Tasmania (being a law that I am satisfied provides for the payment of long service benefits to or in respect of workers who are or have been engaged in the building and construction industry in that State) is a corresponding law for the purposes of the Building and Construction Industry Long Service Payments Act 1986. |
