Building (Amendment) Regulations 2007
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Building Regulations 2006 to incorporate certain siting and design requirements for single dwellings and associated buildings and to increase certain fees payable under the Building Act 1993.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 7, 9, 261 and 262 of, and Part 1 of Schedule 1 to, the Building Act 1993.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 November 2007.
4Application fee for certificate of consent
In regulation 202 of the Building Regulations 2006[1] for "$75" substitute "$76.85".
5Maximum fee for report and consent
In regulation 312 of the Building Regulations 2006—
(a)in subregulation (1), for "$50" substitute "$51.25";
(b)in subregulation (2), for "$200" substitute "$205";
(c)in subregulation (3), for "$50" substitute "$51.25".
6Lodgement fees
In regulation 320 of the Building Regulations 2006, for "$30" substitute "$30.75".
7Fees for requests for information
In regulation 327 of the Building Regulations 2006, for "$40" substitute "$41".
8Accreditation fees
In regulation 1405(1) of the Building Regulations 2006, for "$1500" substitute "$1537.50".
9Duplicate certificate fee
In regulation 1508 of the Building Regulations 2006, for "$30" substitute "$30.75".
10Building Appeals Board Fees
In regulation 1602 of the Building Regulations 2006—
(a)in paragraph (a)(i), for "$250" substitute "$256.25";
(b)in paragraph (a)(ii), for "$500" substitute "$512.50";
(c)in paragraph (b)(i), for "$150" substitute "$153.75";
(d)in paragraphs (b)(ii) and (c)(i), for "$250" substitute "$256.25";
