Building Amendment Regulations 2005

The amendments in these regulations are to the Building
Regulations 1989*.

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator in Executive
Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Building Amendment
Regulations 2005.

2.            The regulations amended

3.            Regulation 6 amended

Regulation 6(2)(a) is amended by deleting "6" and inserting instead —

" 12 ".

4.            Regulation 11 amended

After regulation 11(1) the following is inserted —

CodeMark certificates

(la)	For the purposes of the application, a CodeMark certificate issued for a building product is sufficient evidence that the building product complies with the provisions of the Building Code specified in the certificate.
(lb)	In subregulation (la) — "building product" includes a building product,

method, design, component and system;

"CodeMark certificate" means a certificate, issued

under the CodeMark Scheme administered by the that a building product, method, design, component or system complies with the specified provisions of the Building Code.
