BUILDING AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1995

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Building Amendment Regulations

1995.

Principal regulations

(a) where the drawings relate to a swimming pool, sheet A4;

2. In these regulations the Building Regulations 1989* are referred to as

the principal regulations.

Regulation 3 amended

3. Regulation 3 (2) of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "Australian Uniform Building Regulations Coordinating Council" and substituting the following —

" Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB)

Regulation 11 amended
4. Regulation 11 (3) of the principal regulations is amended by deleting
"not less in size than —

(b) in any other case, sheet A2."

and substituting the following -

Regulation 24 amended

5.  Regulation 24 of the principal regulations is amended -

(a) by inserting after the regulation designation the

subregulation designation "(1)";

(b) in subregulation (1) by deleting "Table below" and substituting the following -

"

Table to this regulation

(c) by inserting after subregulation (1) the following subregulation -

(2) For the purposes of item 1 of the Table to

this regulation -

(a) where the construction work is to be carried out under a contract, the estimated value of the construction work shall be the contract price, where that price includes value for at least each of the components referred to in paragraph (b); and

(j) where the construction work is carried out other than under a contract or under a contract the contract price for which does not include value for each of the following components, the estimated value of the construction work shall be the sum of the value of all goods (including manufactured goods) forming part of the construction work, labour, services necessary, fees payable, overheads to be met and profit margin.

and

(d) in the Table to that regulation, in item 1 -

(i) in subitem (a) of that item by deleting the paragraph in the column headed "Fee" and substituting the following paragraph -

0.35% of the estimated value of the proposed construction as determined by the council, but not less than $40.

and

(ii)in subitein (b) of that item by deleting the paragraph in the

column headed "Fee" and substituting the following
paragraph -

0.2% of the estimated value of the proposed construction as determined by the council, but not less than $40.
