Building Amendment (New Residential Zones) Regulations 2014
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Building Regulations 2006—
(a)to update the zones in planning schemes that specify siting requirements which override siting requirements in those Regulations; and
(b)to make a miscellaneous amendment.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 7, 9, 261 and 262 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Building Act 1993.
3Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Building Regulations 2006[1] are called the Principal Regulations.
4Amendment to Form 2 of Schedule 2—Building permit
In note 5 to Form 2 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations, for "$12 000" substitute "$16 000".
5Substitution of Schedule 5—Planning schemes
For Schedule 5 to the Principal Regulations substitute—
