AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Building Ordinance 1972.

I , T H E G O V E R N O R - G E N E R A L of the C o m m o n w e a l t h of Austra l ia , act ing with the advice of the Federa l Execut ive Counci l , hereby m a k e the following Ord inance under the Seat of Government (Adminis­

tration) Act 1910 .

1. This Ord inance m a y be cited as the Building (Amendment)

Ordinance 1976 .*

2 . In this Ord inance , " Pr incipal Ord inance " means the Building

Ordinance 1972 . f

3 . Section 3 of the Pr incipal Ord inance is repealed.

After section 13 of the Principal O r d i n a n c e the following section is inserted in Division 2 of Pa r t I I : —

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel-also accessible at

" 13A. T h e Review Commi t t ee shall, as soon as pract icable after

the end of each financial year, p repare and furnish to the Minister a

report of the opera t ions of the Review C o m m i t t e e dur ing that year.".

5. After section 26 of the Principal Ord inance the following section

is	i n se r t ed :—
" 26A . T h e S tandards Commi t t ee shall, as soon as pract icable after

the end of each financial year, p repare and furnish to the Minis ter a repor t of the operat ions of the Standards C o m m i t t e e dur ing that year ." .
