No. 15 of 1944.

AN ACT to amend section 5 of the Builders' Registration

Act, 1939-1940.

[Assented to 8th December, 1944.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1.    This Act may be cited as the Builders' Registration Short title.

Act Amendment Act, 1944, and shall be read as one with

the Builders' Registration Act, 1939-1940 (No. 29 of 1939 as reprinted in Volume 2 of the Reprinted Acts of the Parliament of Western Australia), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Section five of the principal Act is amended—

Me/ptent

(a)

by deleting the word "four" from the first line principal

of paragraph (c) and inserting the word Act.

"five" in lieu thereof.

(b)

by deleting the words "the President of the Royal Institute of the Architects" from line two of paragraph (c) and inserting "the President of the West Australian Chapter of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects" in lieu thereof.

(c) by adding after the word "Australia" in line five of paragraph (c) the following "a repre- sentative of the workers engaged in the build- ing trade nominated by the Governor."
