No. 27 of 1941.
AN ACT to authorise the construction of a railway
and tramway as an extension of the Broome
tramway and for other purposes incidental thereto.
[Assented to 15th December, 1941.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Broome Tramway Short title.

| 2. | It shall be lawful for the Minister for Works, or Authority to | construct. |
for the Minister for Railways, as the ease may require, to construct and maintain under and in accordance with the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1902-1933, or of the Government Railways Act, 1904-1939, as the ease may be, a railway and tramway, with all necessary proper and usual works and conveniences in connection therewith as an extension of the Broome tramway constructed under the authority of the Broome Tramway Act, 1902 (No. 25 of 1902), between the points and along the line described in the Schedule to this Act, and more particu- larly defined and delineated and coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D., W.A., 29439, and prepared for the purposes of section ninety-six of the Public Works Act, 1902-1933.

SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF RAILWAY AND TRAMWAY.
Commencing at a point on the Broome tramway at the eastern end of Houton street and proceeding in a general south-westerly direction across Robinson street through reserve 1642 to and across the southern end of Walcott street and past the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 341, 343, and 345, thence crossing the southern end of Herbert street into and along Scott street and across Forrest street, terminating at a point by the freezing works in reserve 1646, as more particularly delineated and coloured red on Plan P.W.D., W.A., 29489, deposited pursuant to 2 Ed. VII., No. 47, section ninety-six.
