AN ACT to render valid a certain Loan raised by the

Broome Road Board.

[Assented to 6th November, 1926.]

This Act may be cited as the Broome Road Board Loan Validation Act, 1926.

(1) The loan of ten thousand pounds proposed to be contracted by the Broome Road Board by a notice

published in the Gazette on the fifth day of June, one

thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, shall, as regards the sum of seven thousand pounds already raised, and as regards the balance when raised, be lawful and binding on the said Road Board, notwithstanding that the pro- visions of Part VII. of the Road Districts Act, 1919, were not, in some respects, complied with.

(2) All debentures which have already been, or which may hereafter be issued in respect of such loan, shall be a valid security for the repayment thereof, notwithstanding that some of the said debentures are redeemable in fifteen years in lieu of thirty years as stated in the said notice.
