A n A c t to a m e n d t h e B r o k e n Hil l a n d U m b e r -

u m b e r k a W a t e r S u p p l y Ac t , 1 9 0 6 ; a n d for

o t h e r p u r p o s e s . [17th December, 1907.]

BE it enac ted by t h e K i n g ' s Most Exce l len t Majesty, by and wi th

the advice and consent of t he Legis la t ive Council and Legis la t ive

Assembly of N e w South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled, and by the au tho r i t y of t he same, as follows :—

1 . This A c t m a y b e cited as t he " B r o k e n Hi l l and U m b e r -

u m b e r k a W a t e r Supp ly ( A m e n d m e n t ) Act , 1907 ," and shall be read

wi th t he Broken Hi l l and U m b e r u m b e r k a W a t e r Supply Act , 1906,

hereinafter called t he Pr inc ipa l Ac t . .

2. No twi th s t and ing a n y t h i n g conta ined in section e igh teen of

t he Pr inc ipa l Act , the n u m b e r of members of the t r u s t to be appoin ted by the council shall be two, and the n u m b e r of m e m b e r s to be appoin ted by the min ing companies shal l be four.

3. Section t h i r t y - two of the Pr inc ipa l Ac t is hereby repealed

and the following section subs t i tu ted in l ieu t he reo f :—" The m e m b e r appointed by t h e Governor shall be deemed to have been appointed

for th ree years . "
