Broadcasting Services (Technical Planning) Amendment Guidelines 2021 (No. 1)
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following guidelines under section 33 of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

These are the Broadcasting Services (Technical Planning) Amendment Guidelines 2021 (No. 1).
2 Commencement
This instrument commences at the start of the day after the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

This instrument is made under section 33 of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
4 Amendments
The instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 is amended as set out in the applicable items in that Schedule.
Schedule 1—Amendments
Broadcasting Services (Technical Planning) Guidelines 2017 (F2017L01290)
1 Subsection 6(1)
Insert:
datacasting transmitter licence means an apparatus licence issued under Part 3.3 of the Radiocommunications Act for a transmitter that is for use for transmitting a datacasting service within the meaning of the Broadcasting Services Act, but does not include:
(a) a licence issued under section 102 of the Radiocommunications Act; or
(b) a digital radio multiplex transmitter licence; or
(c) an NBS transmitter licence;
and includes an authorisation under section 114 of the Radiocommunications Act by the licensee of such a licence.
NBS transmitter licence has the meaning given by section 5 of the Radiocommunications Act.
2 Subsection 6(1) (note at the end, paragraph (h))
Repeal the paragraph.
