Broadcasting Services (Simulcast Period for Mildura/Sunraysia Licence Area) Determination (No. 2) 2009

I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, make the following Determination under subclause 6A(2) of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Determination

This Determination is the Broadcasting Services (Simulcast Period for Mildura/Sunraysia Licence Area) Determination (No. 2) 2009.

2.         Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments. 

3.         Definitions

In this Determination:

Mildura/Sunraysia licence area is the area determined by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) in the Licence Area Plan Mildura/Sunraysia Television and Radio made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992; and

simulcast period has the same meaning as paragraphs (a) and (c) of the definition of ‘simulcast period’ in clause 2 of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

4.         Determination

The simulcast period for the Mildura/Sunraysia licence area is to run until 30 June 2010.
