Broadcasting Services (Simulcast Period for Eastern Victoria TV1, Regional Victoria TV1 and Western Victoria TV1) Determination (No. 1) 2010

I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, make the following Determination under subclause 6A(2) of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Determination

This Determination is the Broadcasting Services (Simulcast Period for Eastern Victoria TV1, Regional Victoria TV1 and Western Victoria TV1) Determination (No. 1) 2010.

2.         Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

3.         Definitions

In this Determination:

regional coverage area has the same meaning as in clause 2 of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992;

regional licence area has the same meaning as in clause 2 of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992;

simulcast period has the same meaning as paragraphs (a) and (c) of the definition of ‘simulcast period’ in clause 2 of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992;

4.         Determination

The simulcast period for the regional licence areas and the regional coverage areas of Eastern Victoria TV1, Regional Victoria TV1, and Western Victoria TV1 is to run until and including 5 May 2011.
