The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following instrument of repeal under paragraph 8AE(1)(a) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1  Name

This instrument is the Broadcasting Services (Regional Commercial Radio - Specification of Periods for Subsections 43C(1A) and 61CD(2)) Repeal Instrument 2021.

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under paragraph 8AE(1)(a) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

Note:    The Broadcasting Services (Regional Commercial Radio – Specification of Periods for Subsections 43C(1A) and 61CD(2)) Instrument 2012 had effect immediately before the commencement of this instrument as if it had been made under paragraph 8AE(1)(a) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 (as amended by Schedule 1 to the Broadcasting Services Amendment (Regional Commercial Radio and Other Measures) Act 2020) (see paragraph 18(1)(a) of the Broadcasting Services Amendment (Regional Commercial Radio and Other Measures) Act 2020).

4  Repeal

The instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 is repealed as set out in the Schedule.
