Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010

(Amendment No. 5 of 2011)

I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, hereby amend the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 made under subsection 115(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 (Amendment No. 5 of 2011).

2.         Commencement

This Notice commences on the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments. 

3.         Definitions

In this Notice:

Principal Notice means the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010.

4.         Amendments

4.1       In Item 4.1(b) of the Schedule to the Principal Notice, omit the word after “competition”.  

4.2       At the end of Item 4.1(c) of the Schedule to the Principal Notice, add:

; (d)     the match to be played on Saturday 7 May 2011 between Geelong and North Melbourne as part of Round 7 of the 2011 Australian Football League Premiership competition.
