1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 (Amendment No. 2 of 2017).

2.         Commencement

This Notice commences on the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

3.         Authority

This Notice is made under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

4.         Amendment of the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010

Schedule 1 to this Notice amends the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010.

Schedule 1 – Amendments

1. Clause 5.1 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

5.1       Each match in the National Rugby League Premiership competition, including the Finals Series, except for:

(a) any of those matches to be played between 2 March 2017 and 23 July 2017.

1. Clause 5.2 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

5.2       Each match in the National Rugby League State of Origin Series, except for:

(a) any of those matches to be played between 31 May 2017 and 12 July 2017.

1. Clause 5.3 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

5.3       Each international rugby league “test” match involving the senior Australian representative team, played in Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom, except for:

(a) the match to be played on 5 May 2017.
