I, MALCOLM BLIGH TURNBULL, Minister for Communications, make this Notice under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 (Amendment No. 14 of 2014).

2.         Commencement

This Notice commences on the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

3.         Amendment of the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010

Schedule 1 to this Notice amends the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010.

Schedule 1 – Amendments

  1. Clause 7.1 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

7.1       Each “test” match involving the senior Australian representative team selected by Cricket Australia played in Australia, except for:

a)   each “test” match played between 4 December 2014 and 7 January 2015.

  1. Clause 7.3 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

7.3       Each one day cricket match involving the senior Australian representative team selected by Cricket Australia played in Australia, except for:   

a)   each one day cricket match played between 14 and 23 November 2014; and

b)   each one day cricket match played between 16 January 2015 and 1 February 2015.

  1. Clause 7.7 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

7.7       The final of the International Cricket Council Twenty20 World Cup.

  1. Clause 7.8 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

7.8       Each match of the International Cricket Council Twenty20 World Cup involving the senior Australian representative team selected by Cricket Australia.
