1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 (Amendment No. 11 of 2016).

2.         Commencement

This Notice commences on the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

3.         Authority

This Notice is made under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

4.         Amendment of the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010

Schedule 1 to this Notice amends the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010.

Schedule 1 – Amendments

[1]        Clause 5.2 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute: 

5.2       Each match in the National Rugby League State of Origin Series.

[2]        Clause 5.3 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

5.3              Each international rugby league “test” match involving the senior Australian representative team, played in Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom, except for:

(a)  the match to be played on 15 October 2016 in Australia between the senior Australian representative team and the senior New Zealand representative team.
