I, ANTHONY NORMAN ALBANESE, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, make this Notice under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 (Amendment No. 10 of 2013).

2.         Commencement

This Notice commences on the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

3.         Amendment of the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010

Schedule 1 to this Notice amends the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010.

Schedule 1 – Amendments

1. Clause 6.1 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

6.1       Each international “test” match involving the senior Australian representative team selected by the Australian Rugby Union, played in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Europe, except for:

(a)    the match to be played in Australia on 14 September 2013 between the senior Australian representative team selected by the Australian Rugby Union and the senior Argentinian representative team.

1. Clause 6.2 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

6.2       Each match in the quarter‑finals, semi‑finals and the final of the Rugby World Cup tournament.

1. Clause 6.3 of the Schedule

Repeal the clause, substitute:

6.3       Each match of the Rugby World Cup tournament involving the senior Australian representative team selected by the Australian Rugby Union.
