Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010

I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, hereby amend the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 made under subsection 115(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010 (Amendment No. 10 of 2011).

2.         Commencement

This Notice commences on the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

3.         Definitions

In this Notice:

Principal Notice means the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2010.

4.         Amendments

Substitute Item 6.1 of the Schedule to the Principal Notice with the following:

6.1       Each international “test” match involving the senior Australian representative team selected by the Australian Rugby Union, played in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Europe, except for:

(a)    the match to be played in New Zealand on 6 August 2011 between the senior Australian representative team selected by the Australian Rugby Union and the senior New Zealand representative team;

(b)   the match to be played in Australia on 27 August 2011 between the senior Australian representative team selected by the Australian Rugby Union and the senior New Zealand representative team.
