Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2004

I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, under subsection 115(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, hereby amend the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2004 made under subsection 115(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2004 (Amendment No. 2 of 2010).

2.         Commencement

This Notice commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments. 

3.         Definitions

In this Notice:

Principal Notice means the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2004.

4.         Amendments

Substitute Item 2.1 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Notice with the following:

2.1       Each event held as part of the Commonwealth Games, except for any event held as part of the 2010 Commonwealth Games that is partly or wholly held during the period commencing at 4pm and ending at 9pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time.
