Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice

(No. 1) 2004 (Amendment No. 1 of 2005)

I, HELEN LLOYD COONAN, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, being of the opinion that the televising of the events specified in the following Notice should be available free to the public, hereby amend the Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2004 by issuing the following Notice under subsection 115(1A) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1. The Broadcasting Services (Events) Notice (No. 1) 2004 is amended as set out in

this Notice.

1. Schedule 2, after Item 8.2: Insert

“8.3Each match in the Fédération Internationale de Football Association World Cup tournament held in 2010.”

[NOTE:  This Notice is a legislative instrument and will be registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments: see Legislative Instruments Act 2003 ss 5 and 24. It will commence on the day after registration: s 12(1)(d).]
