Brisbane Roman Catholic Cathedral Land Act 1981, No. 62 513 Preamble. Whereas an estate in fee-simple in lands set out and described in the Schedule are vested in James Duhig, Timothy Molony and Brian Bolton for all the estate therein of John Bede Polding, Henry Gregory Gregory, Joseph Charles Sumner, John McEneroe, James Hanley (or Hanly), William Augustine Duncan and William Fitzpatrick upon the respective trusts set out in the Schedule: And whereas each of James Duhig, Timothy Molony and Brian Bolton are deceased: And whereas The Corporation of the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane constituted under the Religious Educational and Charitable Institutions Act 1861-1967 is authorized' to hold land for the Roman Catholic Church in Brisbane: And whereas it is desirable to vest the estate in fee-simple in the lands set out and described in the Schedule in The Corporation of the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane freed and discharged from all trusts upon which those lands are presently held. BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Brisbane Roman Catholic Cathedral Land Act 1981. 2. The Corporation . In this Act, " the Corporation " means The Corporation of the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane constituted under the Religious Educational and Charitable Institutions Act 1861-1967. 3. Divestment of lands in trustees . The estate in fee-simple in the lands set out and described in the Schedule and the improvements thereon are hereby divested from James Duhig, Timothy Molony and Brian Bolton and the trusts on which those lands are presently held are hereby extinguished. 4. Vesting of lands in the Corporation . The estate in fee-simple in the lands set out and described in the Schedule and the improvements thereon hereby vest in the Corporation freed and discharged from all trusts upon which they were held immediately before the passing of this Act.

The appropriation thereof as a Stanley, Parish of North site for a dwelling-house, garden, Brisbane, being part of allotment or other appurtenances for the 4 and allotment 5 of section 33, clergymen duly appointed to containing one rood 14 perches officiate in the Roman Catholic more or less; church erected at Brisbane (c) Land situated in the County of The erection thereon of a Roman Stanley, Parish of North Catholic school-house Brisbane, being allotment 3 and part of allotment 4 of section 33, containing one rood 14 perches more or less; (d) Land situated in the County of St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Stanley, Parish of, North church Brisbane, being allotment 13 of section 33, containing 36 perches more or less; (e) Land situated in the County of the Roman Catholic church at Stanley, Parish of North Brisbane Brisbane, being allotment 6 of section 33, containing 36 perches more or less
