Bread Industry Authority Repeal Act 1992 Act No. 58 of 1992 An Act to repeal the Bread Industry Authority Act 1990 and for related purposes [Assented to 7 December 1992]
4 Bread Industry Authority Repeal No. 58, 1992 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows. ˙ Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Bread Industry Authority Repeal Act 1992 . ˙ Commencement 2. This Act commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation. ˙ Repeal of Bread Industry Authority Act 1990 3. The Bread Industry Authority Act 1990 is repealed. ˙ Transfer of property and liabilities of Bread Industry Authority to State 4.(1) On the commencement of section 3— (a) all property and liabilities of the Bread Industry Authority within the meaning of the BreadIndustryAuthorityAct1990 become property and liabilities of the State; and (b) the State is substituted for the Authority in all contracts to which the Authority is a party; and (c) the State is substituted as a party for the Authority in all pending and existing proceedings to which the Authority becomes or is a party. (2) A person responsible for keeping a register in relation to dealings with property is, on request made by the chief executive of the department, to make all endorsements necessary to record the vesting of property in the State under this section. (3) A request made for the purposes of subsection (2) is not liable to stamp duty and no fees or charges are payable in relation to the request.
5 Bread Industry Authority Repeal No. 58, 1992 (4) Stamp duty is not otherwise payable because of the operation of this Act. ˙ Expiry of this Act 5. This Act expires 1 month after section 3 commences. The State of Queensland 1992
