AN ACT to authorise the construction of a

Railway from Boyanup to Busselton.

[Assented to, 1st February, 's'92.1

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

Preamble.

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia- ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.     THIS Act may be cited as " The Boyanup-Busselton Railway

Act, 1892."

Short Title.

2.

IT shall be lawful to construct and maintain a Railway from Authority

to

Boyanup to Busselton, with all necessary, proper, and usual works struetR ailwacyo.-

and conveniences in connection therewith, in the line and upon the

lands described in the Schedule to this Act.

3. NOTWITHSTANDING anything contained in " The Rail-

Deviation. ways Act, 1878," it shall be lawful for the Commissioner of Railways

to deviate from the line as described in such Schedule to the extent

of two miles on either side thereof.

In the name and on behalf of the Queen I hereby assent

to this Act.

SCHEDULE.

BOYANUP-BUSSELTON RAILWAY.

DESCRIPTION OF LINE OF RAILWAY.

Commencing at a point on the Bunbury Railway 15 miles 27 chains or thereby from the zero point thereof, as defined by mile posts thereon, and proceed- ing thence South-Westerly for a distance of 23 miles 8 chains or thereabouts ; thence Westerly for a distance of 2 miles 60 chains or thereabouts ; thence North-Westerly for a distance of 1 mile or thereabouts ; thence Northerly for a distance of 60 chains or thereabouts ; and terminating at or near the Southern end of the Busselton Jetty. All in the Land District of Wellington, as more particularly delineated by a red line on map marked P.W.D., W.A., No. 1405, deposited at the office of the Commissioner of Railways, Perth.
