April 1992 at page 2561 is repealed.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The Boxing and Wrestling Control Act 1986 was amended by the Statute Law
(Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991.
Those amendments provided that certain functions performed by police officers at boxing contests (such as recording certain particulars at the weigh-in and inspecting boxing gloves) are to be performed instead by a member of the Boxing Authority of New South Wales or by a boxing inspector appointed by the Authority.
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Boxing Authority Regulation 1986
to reflect the changes made to the Act.
1992—No. 214
The Regulation repeals and remakes the Regulation referred to in clause 3. That Regulation relied for its efficacy on a proclamation that failed to appoint a day for the commencement of the relevant amendments made by the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991.
