BOXING AND WRESTLING CONTROL ACT 1986—

REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor. with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Boxing and Wrestling Control Act 1986, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 14 March 1994.

Amendments

2. The Boxing Authority Regulation 1986 is amended:

(a)

by omitting from clause 8the matter “$10” and by inserting instead the matter “$20”;

(b)

by omitting from clause 12 (a) the matter “$10” and by inserting instead the matter “$20”;

(c)

by omitting from clause 12 (b) the matter “$15” and by inserting instead the matter “$30”;

(d)

by omitting from clause 12 (c) the matter “$20” and by inserting instead the matter “$40”;

(e)

by omitting clause 26 the matter “$10”and by inserting instead the matter “$20”;

(f)

by omitting from clause 28 the matter “$10” and by inserting instead the matter “$25”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to increase fees payable under the Boxing Authority Regulation 1986 for registration as a boxer or as an industry participant, for issue of a duplicate medical record book or medical record card or for permission to promote or arrange a boxing contest.

This Regulation is made under the Boxing and Wrestling Control Act 1986,

including sections 8 (2) (b) (ii), 19 (2) (b), 40 (1) and 42 (2) (b).
