Bounty (Tractor Cabs) Amendment Act 1984 (Cth)

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
(a) by omitting “heat-treated” from paragraph (b) of the definition of “bountiable cab”;
(b) by omitting “9 June 1984” from the definition of “bounty period” and substituting “the relevant day”; and
(c) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:
“(2) For the purposes of the definition of ‘bounty period’ in sub-section (1), the relevant day shall be taken to be 31 December 1984 or such other day, not being a day later than 30 June 1985, as is fixed by the Minister for the purposes of this sub-section—
(a) if the day so fixed is earlier than 31 December 1984—by notice published in the
Gazette on or before the day so fixed; or(b) if the day so fixed is later than 31 December 1984—by notice published in the
Gazette on or before 31 December 1984.”.
