Bounty (Ships) Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Bounty (Ships) Act 1980.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Bounty (Ships) Regulations.

Interpretation

 2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

“the Act” means the Bounty (Ships) Act 1980.

Prescribed bountiable vessels

 3. For the purposes of paragraph 7 (1) (g) of the Act, the following bountiable vessels are prescribed:

  • (a)

    bulk carriers;

  • (b)

    fishing vessels;

  • (c)

    rig service vessels;

  • (d)

    tugs.
