BOTANY CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM ACT 1972—
PROCLAMATION
(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 16 of the Botany Cemetery and Crematorium Act 1972, do, by this my Proclamation, amend the First Schedule to that Act by inserting at the end of that Schedule the following matter:
All those pieces or parcels of land containing an area of 5.118 hectares or thereabouts situated in the City of Randwick, County of Cumberland, Parish of Botany, being Lot 101, D.P. 805244.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
Section 16 of the Act states that the First Schedule to the Act may be amended when any land is added to the Botany cemetery under the Crown Lands Act 1989. By notification published in the Gazette on 22 November 1996 under the Crown Lands Act 1989, certain Crown land was added to land already reserved for the public purpose of a cemetery. The object of this Proclamation is accordingly to amend the First Schedule to the Act.
This Proclamation is made under section 16 of the Act.
