An Act to amend the Book Bounty Act 1969 in relation to
Books produced for or on behalf of the Commonwealth or a State.

it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of
Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short
title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Book Bounty Act 1970.
(2.) The Book
Bounty Act 1969, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Book Bounty Act 1969–1970.
Commencement.
2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the
twenty-first day of April, One thousand nine hundred and seventy.
Bounty
not payable in respect of certain books.
3. Section 8 of the Book Bounty Act 1969 is amended by
omitting from sub-section (2.) the words “, for or on behalf of”.
Application
