TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS

Copyright in the High Court of Australia

MR N. LAWSON: (of Messrs Lawson Meredith) I appear for the

applicants and agent for the second respondents in

each of the appeals.

MR S.M. REEVES: If it please the Court, I appear for the

first respondent, the trustee in bankruptcy.

(instructed by Mallesons Stephen Jaques)

MR LAWSON:  The matter has resolved, Your Honours, and I
seek leave to hand up some consent orders. In

proceedings S200 the signature of Mr Alan Bond does

not appear on the documents. A settlement was
occasioned on Saturday by telephone linkup. My

friend will confirm that a copy of these consent

orders was sighted in Perth with the signature of

Mr Bond on that document. Otherwise, if the Court

could otherwise make the orders as sought to

dispose of the application for special leave.

MASON CJ: There are two matters before the Court.

MR LAWSON: That is correct.
MASON CJ:  And what you are asking us to do is to make

consent orders in terms of the document headed

"Consent Orders" in each case.

MR LAWSON: That is correct.

MASON CJ:  The Court is prepared to make orders accordingly.

MR LAWSON: If the Court pleases.

AT 9.59 AM THE MATTER WAS ADJOURNED SINE DIE
