Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THOMAS UREN, the Minister of State for Territories and Local Government, hereby make the following Regulations under the Machinery Ordinance 1949.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1983.

Application for inspection

2. Regulation 23 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2) "The appropriate fee specified in the Schedule to these Regulations" and substituting "The relevant fee determined by the Minister under section 4A of the Ordinance".

Certificate of inspection

3. Regulation 24 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations is

amended by omitting sub-regulation (4).
Issue of boiler attendant's certificate

4. Regulation 39 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "a fee of $15" and substituting "the relevant fee determined by the Minister under section 4A of the Ordinance".
