Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Boating (Port Stanvac Zoning) Regulations 1992.

Revocation

2. The Port Stanvac Zoning Regulations 1983 (see Gazette 15 December 1983 p 1684) are

revoked.

Interpretation

3. In these regulations—

"controlled area no. 1" means that portion of the sea at Port Stanvac delineated on the plan

in the schedule as controlled area no. 1;

"controlled area no. 2" means that portion of the sea at Port Stanvac delineated on the plan

in the schedule as controlled area no. 2.

Note: For definition of divisional penalties see Appendix.

Boats prohibited in controlled areas

4. A person who—

(a)

takes a boat into controlled area no. 1 or controlled area no. 2;

or

(b)

causes or permits a boat to enter controlled area no. 1 or controlled area no. 2,

is guilty of an offence.

Penalty: Division 10 fine.
