Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Boating (Murray Bridge—River Murray Bathing

Zones) Regulations 1992.

Interpretation

2. In these regulations—

"controlled area" means a portion of the River Murray at Murray Bridge delineated on the

plan in schedule 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7.

Note: For definition of divisional penalties see Appendix.

Activities prohibited in controlled areas

3. A person who—

(a)	takes a vessel, or a water ski, sailboard, surfboard or other similar device, into a controlled area;
or
(b)	causes or permits a vessel, or a water ski, sailboard, surfboard or other similar device, to enter a controlled area,

is guilty of an offence.

Penalty: Division 10 fine.
