1. These regulations may be cited as the
2. In these regulations—
"the controlled area" means that portion of Lake Albert at Meningie bounded as follows:
on the South, by an imaginary straight line being the imaginary prolongation of the north boundary of Allotment 75 in Development Plan 16240 Hundred of Bonney commencing from the water’s edge and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 75 metres; | |
on the west, by an imaginary straight line perpendicular to the south boundary commencing at its western extremity and extending in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 100 metres; | |
on the north east, by the southern side of the Meningie boat ramp commencing at the water’s edge and extending in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 18 metres; | |
on the north-west, by an imaginary straight line joining the northern extremity of the west boundary with the western extremity of the north-east boundary; | |
and | |
on the east, by the water’s edge. |
3. A person who—
takes a vessel, or a water ski, surfboard or other similar device, into the controlled area; | |
or | |
causes or permits a vessel, or a water ski, surfboard or other similar device, to enter the controlled area, |
is guilty of an offence.
Penalty: Division 10 fine.
