REGULATIONS UNDER THE FORESTRY AND TIMBER BUREAU ACT 1930-46.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Forestry and Timber Bureau Act 1930-1946.

Amendment of the Board of Higher Forestry Education Regulations.

Commencement.

1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the twenty-eighth day of February, 1947.

Power and functions of Board.

2. Regulation 3 of the Board of Higher Forestry Education Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Inspector-General of Forests” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the word “Director-General”.

Statutory Rules 1945, No. 27. (Statutory Rules 1947, No. 23, which purported to amend these Regulations, were not tabled within the prescribed time and, by virtue of section 48 (3.) of the Acts InterpretationAct 1901-1941, are void and of no effect.)
